As the heat of Hong Kong’s high summer sets in, we’re seeking out things to cool us down — shady spots beneath trees, a trip to the beach, wide-brimmed hats and cool linens. And also for us, along with our friends at Attirecare and 52 Gage, finding respite this season means indulging in the cool scents and colours of citrus. 

British brand Attirecare creates natural care products for the home. The company recently launched its Citrus Tea Room Mist — an addictive blend of tea leaf, tangerine extract and wood oils that has us dreaming of sun dappled orchards and freshly squeezed cordials. We love the commitment to using all natural ingredients in ranges like Aureum, which includes a delicate wash and fabric softener, both buzzing with a California-inspired combination of scents like Neroli, Bergamot, Lemon, Jasmine, Geranium and Rosewood. Attirecare products make perfect bedfellows for the new citrus-inspired colourways we’ve introduced to our Merrow, Simply Sateen and Little Rocks collections — a union we’re celebrating this July at Hong Kong’s favourite new retail destination, 52 Gage.

We’ve called our residency at 52 Gage ‘Summeroom’. For us, the name is reminiscent of open windows and cool breezes carrying the scent of hot afternoons in the country. As is our way, we’re bringing nature into the shop with such treats as a sensory table where we invite you to engage with samples of some of the exquisite ingredients that go into Attirecare’s Citrus Tea Room Mist such as bergamot, patchouli and eucalyptus. 

Guests also have the chance to explore living room and bedroom environments where our zesty new colour schemes take centrestage.

This is 52 Gage’s first summer in Hong Kong, yet already the shop has become a firm favourite, beloved as much for the fun-filled vibes as the brilliance of their edit. It’s the perfect place for the fresh and zesty multisensory experience that is Summeroom. Throughout our time at 52 Gage we’re treating our visitors to complimentary samples, delicious citrus-based refreshments and exciting special events.
